Gavin, Rodger and the Briggs family have owned the company since its inception. Gavin and Rodger are both general managers with Gavin being heavily involved in the design and sales side of the company also. The Briggs' prior and current successes in owning and operating their own farms has provided the necessary tools to supply their clients with proven products and services.

Lucas Cawte

Assistant Manager

Lucas started with Rainer Irrigation as the Service Manager over 2 years ago. In February 2012 he was appointed Assistant Manager to assist the day to day operation of the company and manage client queries.

Mike Bowler

Design / Sales

Mike is the newest addition to the design and sales team, but comes as one of the most experienced. He formally owned and operated an irrigation company in his home country and has over 24 years in irrigation design, a BSc Agriculture and a post grad Diploma in GIS. Mike has the skills necessary to accurately design a system to suit any application from drip irrigation to piped schemes.

Doug Carrodus

Design / Sales

Doug has been with Rainer Irrigation for over 12 years. He moved into design/sales 6 years ago after being the pump installation and service manager for the 6 years prior. This pump experience and knowledge was carried through and applied into design and has since proved to be his specialty area.

Matthew Hancox

Design / Sales

Matthew has been with the company for 8 years, previously as a pump technician and most recently as the pump department manager. Matt has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the irrigation fields so it was a natural progression to move into this side of the company.

Alan Foster

Pivot Service Manager

Alan is a fully qualified Electrician and has been with the company for over 2 years previously in the electrical department. Alan has a great deal of experience and is an ideal addition to this department. Having a qualified electrician within the department provides more scope for problem solving and delivers more efficient rectification of pivot electrical faults.

Mark Symonds

Service Manager - RotoRainers & Effluent

Mark worked as a serviceman for the company 3.5 years prior to becoming the service manager. He has expert knowledge on all facets of the service department and runs a well-resourced team of 8.

Alan Robin

Pivot & Lateral Installation Manager

Alan started with the company 4 years ago in the workshop. Alan then moved into pivot assembly where he acquired great product knowledge and now runs the Pivot install teams.
