encapsulated with plug and socket connections as standard. It's powered
by an external, replaceable extended-life battery pack. Here are

plug and socket connectors as standard
o avoids the need for the customer to enter the case, which in turn
eliminates possible failure due to water ingress through incorrectly
fitted transmitter lids and cable glands
- Tamper detection available oin all connections
o optional pack of fitting to allow seals to be fitted for security
if data operation.
- External battery pack giving extended battery life (projected
to 5 years or more)
o Longer period between battery exchanges with out compromising performance
o alternatively, more frequent data access without shortening the battery
life
- GSM SIM card accessible by customer but without compromising
the IP68 integrity of the rest of the transmitter
o threaded GSM enclosure cover with wiping seal O-ring
